Thus, on July 11, 2017, a press release was published in which the rating agency "Fitch ratings" assigned the following ratings to the bank "Asaka": 

  • long-term issuer default rating (IDR) in foreign and national currencies: B+, outlook stable
  • short-term foreign currency and local currency IDR: b
  • sustainability rating: b
  • support rating: 4
  • support rating: b +.

July 28, 2017 international rating agency "Moody's" confirmed at the same level all ratings of "Asaka" bank. 

  • long-term deposit rating in national currency: B1, outlook "Stable";
  • long-term rating of deposits in foreign currency: B2, outlook "Stable";
  • short-term ratings of deposits in national and foreign currencies: Not prime;

the bank's financial stability rating: E +, the outlook is "Stable".

 

2014

On 22nd of January, 2014 the rating agency «Moody’s Investors Service» affirmed the following ratings of «Asaka» Bank:

  • Bank Deposits -Fgn Curr - «B2/Not Prime»;
  • Bank Deposits -Dom Curr - «B1/ Not Prime»;
  • Bank Financial Strength - «E+»;
  • Outlook - «Stable».

29 July 2014 «Fitch Ratings» has affirmed the ratings of «Asaka» Bank.

The rating actions are as follows:

  • Long-term foreign currency IDR affirmed at «B-«; Outlook «Stable»;
  • Long-term local currency IDR affirmed at «B»; Outlook «Stable»;
  • Short-term local and foreign currency IDR affirmed at «B»;
  • Viability Rating affirmed at «b-«;
  • Support Rating affirmed at «5»;
  • Support Rating Floor affirmed at «B-».

12 August 2013 «Fitch Ratings» has affirmed the ratings of Asaka Bank.

The rating actions are as follows:

  • Long-term foreign currency IDR affirmed at «B-»; Outlook «Stable»;
  • Long-term local currency IDR affirmed at «B»; Outlook «Stable»;
  • Short-term local and foreign currency IDR affirmed at «B»;
  • Viability Rating affirmed at «b-»;
  • Support Rating affirmed at «5»;
  • Support Rating Floor affirmed at «B-».

November 12, 2012 the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service confirmed at the same level all the ratings «Asaka» bank.

Long-term local currency deposit «B1», «Stable» outlook;
Long-term foreign currency deposit «B2», «Stable» outlook;
Short-term ratings of the domestic and foreign currency «Not Prime»;
Financial strength rating of the bank «E +», «Stable» outlook.

2011

June 7, 2011, Fitch Ratings assigned the following ratings of:

Long-term IDR — «B»;
Short-term IDR — «B»;
Individual rating — «D / E»;
Support Rating — «5»;
Support Rating Floor-«B-«;
Forecast — «stable».

June 10, 2011 the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the following ratings:

Forecast — «stable»;
Ratings of bank deposits in foreign currency — B2/NP;
Ratings of bank deposits in the national currency — Ba3/NP;
Financial strength rating — E +.

2010

Moody’s Investor Service Ltd. international rating agency has confirmed the following ratings of Asaka state joint-stock commercial bank:

financial stability at E+
bank deposits in national currency — Ba3/NP
bank deposits in foreign currency — B2/NP
all with stable outlook.

As reported earlier, the rating actions in respect of Asaka bank had been taken on 17 December 2009, when Moody’s raised the bank’s local and foreign currency deposit ratings.

2009

On 18 of June, 2009 International Rating Agency Moody's Investors Service has assigned the following global scale ratings to State Joint-Stock Commercial Bank «Asaka»:

Long Term/Short Term local currency deposit rating – B1 / Not Prime
Long Term/Short Term foreign currency deposit rating – B3 / Not Prime
Bank Financial Strength Rating (“BFRS”) – E+
All rating carry a stable outlook.

According to the Moody’s, Asaka Bank’s ratings reflect the bank’s entrenched market position (especially in the corporate banking sector) in the Republic of Uzbekistan, its relatively expanded geographic national coverage, healthy and recurring income structure and adequate capitalization levels, as well as the bank’s established partnership with a diverse number of international financial institutions.

 

On 17 of December, 2009 as a result of its reassessment of the Uzbek government’s ability to support local banks, Moody’s has also taken the following additional actions, some of which affect the foreign and local currency ratings of the some Uzbek banks, including Asaka Bank:

Long-term local currency deposit rating was upgraded to Ba3 from B1
Long-term foreign currency deposit rating was upgraded to B2 from B3
The E+ BFSR and Not Prime short-term deposit ratings remain unchanged
Stable outlook is maintained on all of the ratings.

2008

On 25th June 2008 “Asaka” Bank was awarded international rating by “Fitch Rating” Rating Agency:
