PROJECT FINANCING

Asaka bank closely cooperates with international financial institutions and foreign banks in the field of project financing. During the whole period of cooperation, the bank allocated credit lines from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Commerzbank AG, Drezdnerbank AG, Raiffeisen Bank International, Banco Santander, World Bank, United Bank of Switzerland, Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, Instituto de Credito Oficial, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Unicredit Bank, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, ING Bank, Mizuho Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), The Export-Import Bank of China, China Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development. Within the framework of the above credit lines, a number of investment projects in various industries were financed. 

The largest projects financed by Asaka Bank through foreign credit lines are: 

1) "Construction of ammonia and urea production at JSC “Navoiazot” in the amount of 69,24 billion Japanese yen (equivalent of USD 577,0 million) through a syndicated loan from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and other Japanese Banks "The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd.", "SMBC", "Mizuho" and "ING". 

2) "Construction of a Complex of PVC, methanol and caustic soda production on the basis of JSC “Navoiazot” in the amount of USD 373,83 million through The Export-Import Bank of China.  

3) "Organization of the production of conveyor belts, automobile and agricultural tires in the territory of FIEZ Angren in the amount of USD 156,37 million through Export-Import Bank of China.

Cooperation with national export credit agencies:

One of the main conditions of allocating foreign credit lines is the availability of insurance coverage by the national export credit agencies, such as ECA "Euler Hermes" (Germany), ECA "SACE" (Italy), ECA "CESCE" (Spain), ECA "Sinosure" (China), ECA "NEXI" (Japan), etc. 

Based on the results of the work carried out in this direction, a direct lim it was assigned to Asaka bank by ECA "Euler Hermes" (Germany), through which 15 projects with the participation of the banks Landes Bank Berlin AG, Commerzbank AG, HVB, Dresdner Bank AG were financed. 

With the participation of ECA CESCE (Spain), 4 projects have been financed with the participation of Banco Santander, ICO, Societe Generale (representative office in Spain), of which 3 with the involvement of the sovereign guarantee. 

On the part of ECA SACE (Italy), a lim it was allocated, through which 3 projects were financed with the participation of HVB (Italian representative office). 

ECA EGAP (Czech Republic) provided insurance coverage for the financing of 1 project with the participation of RZB bank (Czech Republic). 

With the help of ECA NEXI (Japan), 1 project was funded with the participation of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) with the involvement of the sovereign guarantee.
